CAMERA OPP: 21st Annual Regent Park Film Festival Returns Tonight!
WHAT:
The 21st Annual Regent Park Film Festival is returning tonight and Torontonians are invited to three days of captivating feature and short-film screenings, panels, workshops and more. The free festival will run from November 23 to November 26, 2023 at Daniels Spectrum at 585 Dundas St. E.
This year’s festival boasts an impressive selection of 48 feature and short films by talents like Zarrar Kahn, Kelly Fyffe-Marshall, Chrisann Hessing and Meredith Hama-Brown. To extend accessibility, RPFF will be providing free childcare throughout the festival, closed captioning and ASL translation will also be available.
The festivities kick off with an opening-night event on Thursday, November 23, that includes a pre-screening reception and a photo-op followed by a viewing of In Flames, the feature directorial debut from Pakistani-Canadian filmmaker, Zarrar Kahn. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year to rave reviews, and was a big hit at TIFF.
